Okay, lets get to the basis for BCST Chairman Cuban's comments that MP3 doesn't scale for streaming. He's certainly beaten up the SHOUTcast system and you have to give him the benefit of the doubt. (He was formerly a very successful computer systems integrator--sold his business to Compuserve.) Cuban is an apostle of multicast (one stream to many users), as opposed to unicast (one stream to one user). Multicast is the way to make money in streaming multimedia.
