Translation: Cyrix is lowering their PR rating standards. They know their MII processor has no hope of competing against the Pentium II's speed ratings, so they have to compare their chips to the lower K6-2 standard. Kind of ironic when you consider that the very 'MII' designation was meant to position it against the Pentium II.

And to think that AMD is renaming the K6-3 as the 'K6-III' in the hopes that it will be put in the same league as the Pentium III.
