Serge,

There are several NN bulls on this thread that can do a much better job than I can to explain why NN is such a great company. I'll let Pat, Ian or ZO tackle that one.

From a pure technical perspective, the stock has clearly turned around. The stocks is being accumulated, the volume is good and the news in the near term will be positive. Negative news, like losing WIC, last quarters' earnings results and anticipation of G1 are clearly behind NN.

I expect the stock to run and beat the next 2 quarters' numbers, which should push NN back to $ 40 US. Throw in a take-over rumor, another significant win (like G1) and the upside is impressive in a market full of over-priced stocks.

Cheers,

Peppe

Dear Serge:

I have followed with great interest this thread for the past 6 months. I have found the opinions of Pat, Ian and ZO to be both insightful and informative.

However, your recent post is neither insightful, thought out or informative. It is an opinion not worth a moments consideration. Newbridge is not a bridesmaid in the ATM space and a contract worth $500mill US is not in your words hyperbole. It is obvious that your shorting the stock and would like nothing better than to say negative things about the Company. May I suggest that you join the gentleman at CT Securities whose 12 month target is $22 US as he seems to know about as much as you with regards to Newbridge.

It looks like you will be losing alot of money in the coming months shorting Newbridge.

Just One Persons Opinion
Rob

I happen to believe that the company's future is not bright when you consider the larger picture and take into account the high valuation of Newbridge's stock vis-a-vis its past record and propensity to disappoint, and as such there is danger that lies ahead.

The street is presently telling me you are wrong.
I thought today we would get the big retreat but it didn't happen. The last few days the stock would drop at the open to only rebound back to its present value or higher. There has been more than average volume on the TSE also. So I'm guessing that somebody knows something like a contract or two considering the stock has been on a strong run up with a very small retreat. You would think by now that we should be in a retreat mode but it's not happening.

Serge: Any stock at any position carries a risk & reward. Both are tied to Global Economics, Local Economics, Market valuation,The Sector and the Fundamentals.

To that extent NN does carry a risk. My model encompassing all factors shows a risk of 30% downside against a reward of 35%. The downside risk is essentially due to conditions other than Sector & Fundamentals. On the other hand the reward is entirely due to Sector and Fundamentals.
