jj, it is not meaningless it is ominous. I say, run for the hills if you do not want to get caught in a 15% or so "correction". Here we touched 10,000 and our new highs contracted and new lows expanded, I will not even speak of the adv decline. The writing is no the wall. In my humble opinion for next 10 to 15 weeks, cash is king.

I evaluate mainly small stocks, with floats around 10 to 30 million shares. Unsurprisingly, and not coincidentally, a lot of them are backing up to prices not seen since early 1997. I would not be surprised if this market held out for a sizeable correction until the A/D line retraces to the level we were at back in april 1997.
