Thanks Teddy...maybe I was looking at something pre-IPO. Also, good post on tomorrow's conference in NY.

I believe strongly it's just a matter of time before GBLX buys a US backbone. But FRO? They've got lots of QWST fiber to be sure but the company comes with all that retail infrastructure from the long distance and local telephone business. Not much operational synergy with GBLX. Could this be the equivalent of when QWST bought LCI? I doubt it. I think it's more likely for GBLX to buy a large part of FRO's underutilized data capacity, possibly with stock, but probably in cash (over time). Why bother mucking up a good model with residential and small business customers? If not FRO, then they'll probably do a lit fiber deal with QWST, Wiltel, or someone else. Well maybe not QWST. This is, after all, about world domination.
