Steve, what do you think of SFE as a peer-comparison to CMGI? SFE has traditionally been a VC company very similar to CMGI but focused more on IT, some telecom and services with just a bit of Internet.

Now focusing much more seriously on the net, has about the same # of pre-IPO co's in its portfolio as CMGI.

Steve-

I was wondering if you followed any of the Internet gambling stocks, specifically horseracing. UBET is You Bet International (an LA company), a BB stock with a $150 million market cap that has applied to the Nasdaq for a listing. They have a proprietary network and offer horse wagering through the internet. They should hear about the nasdaq listing shortly, and I would imagine approval itself would move the stock up. More importantly, longer term ,what are your prospects for that industry? Do you get a sense of how the government might ultimately regulate internet gambling?

NETE 100% gain. Will it last? What do you know about their agreement with AOL and Netscape. Is their software a longterm product. Seem to have solid stable of customers.

Steve - please take a look at RDIM soon to be HOME HouseholdDirect.com
this company is an E-Commerce firm that is signing on buyers clubs and has a very aggressive strategic plan.

They have a very active site on SI and is a steal right now at under a $1. The company is a startup with some recent revenue acquisitions, low float with very few shares outstanding.

Please review and advise - great potential IMO

Thanks

Steve:
Any opinion on FNHC. They seem to be a leader in on-line mortgages. This would seem to be a natural for the net.

Steve; Big Flower Holdings (BGF) has large stakes in TFSM MINE and
Worldgate. In addition, they have solid earnings,(FY 00 ~$2.46p/share)
and only trade @27. Current P/E 13 Forward P/E 9. Could this become
another CMGI or reasonable facsimile if it is given attention by the street/press? 5 Major Brokerages follow it with 4 Strong Buys and 1 Buy.

Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

TIA,

Craig

Steve, do you think it's time for MARG, PQT, and TSCN to start gaining interest and moving on to higher grounds ? I liked today's article on the Financial Data providers:
