Nope, it's more than my usual confusion... <g>

This is the last we heard about the Egyptian "contract":

PR Newswire
Sep 14 1998 7:46PM ET

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Digitcom (OTC Bulletin Board: DGIV) announced today a clarification of its press release of September 11, 1998 Respecting Telecom Egypt. To eliminate any confusion, the Memorandum of Understanding referenced in the press release does not contain any agreement on price between Digitcom and the appropriate authorities within the government of Egypt;
does not contain any schedules for delivery of equipment or other provisions which are frequently incident to binding agreements; and does not legally obligate the government of Egypt to enter into any formal partnership, joint venture, or other agreement with the Company.

No assurances can be given that Digitcom and the appropriate authorities within the government of Egypt will, in further talks, agree on such provisions or that, if a binding agreement is made, Digitcom can perform or obtain the capital to perform under the terms of such binding agreement to the satisfaction of the appropriate Egyptian authorities.

The Memorandum of Understanding does, however, call for the parties to engage in further discussions concerning the subject matter referenced in the September 11, 1998 press release. SOURCE Digitcom

Fast forward to the response to the question of "when" equipment was shipped to Egypt #reply-8256253 .... Mr. D answers with authority "ten days ago": #reply-40187

Why did they ship equipment without a contract?

Oh, I forgot, must be a "secret deal" that DGIV is unwilling to announce, for fear that people will think they are doing well. They only announce deals they haven't made yet.

Or else, more likely, poor Mr. D has had the wool pulled over his eyes once again.
