Hi Clint

It looks like Acampora is calling for 11,500 on the DOW.

Meanwhile, a Canadian perspective on mutual fund inflow to RRSP's (registered retirement saving plans) during the Canadian tax season. Inflow into stocks down 34.5 percent. It looks like most of it went to the money market funds. It should supply lots of fuel for the move to 11,500 when and if the confidence in stocks return. I wonder what the trigger will be?

On PWCC, I don't know if this changes your view or not.

Many investors had played Point West as a way to get in on the FlashNet IPO. Prior to Tuesday's debut, Point West's market cap increased from $11.4 million to $55.7 million since FlashNet filed for its IPO late last year.

Assuming that the difference is entirely due to the company's stake in FlashNet, investors had been expecting FlashNet to begin trading in the mid-30s, That's a bit lower than where the stock actually opened.

But like other "backdoor" IPO plays in the past year -- Creative Computers for uBid, Data Broadcasting for MarketWatch.com, the publisher of this Web site, and Winfield Capital for Cyberian Outpost -- the stock of Point West began falling  once FlashNet began trading

I finally got a short term trading buy signal on the TYX (short from my perspective anyway). The number of stock more than 2 standard deviation below their 200 SMA is starting to improve too. It looks like that signal saved me from buying CATP which has now broken its intermediate bull channel. I still like the stock long term, but I want to see the volume dry up first. Hopefully I not going to be buying a short term top as we are heading in the the pre-warning season. . I notice one or two new letters going short on the INDU due to the lack of breadth in the of stocks fueling the rally.
