CMGI has been in this pattern the past several weeks. A big Monday, so so other days, and at least one day of tanking. See chart:

tradepbs.com

I think right now the market does not know what to do. It hit 10,000; now should it take off or fall back. It's trying to decide and until a trend is set, buyers are being careful.

There was a lot of publicity when AOL was added to the S&P about how many shares had to be bought. The majority were bought after the close the day before it was added. If I recall correctly, AOL was erratic and mostly ended down for several days prior to that. Then all of a sudden millions of shares appeared after hours for the funds to buy. Were the MMs accumulating those shares and holding them for the funds? Anyway, I have not seen any publicity about CMGI. I don't know how many shares are involved. If the MMs are saving up, it has to be for tomorrow after close because CMGI is added Thursday.

We do have the LCOS factor also and maybe CMGI just needs to consolidate some. NSOL went down 14 on the open today but it recovered most of that. Within a few minutes, it went from -14 to +15. It was all over the board. You have to have a strong stomach for these stocks.

Good luck longs.
