Tis true that Berk is up over last 3 years, however I only got in this past year...and then at the top of last years mountain only to tumble down. That was when I sold off 22 shares and waited til Dec to jump back in. I was able to do that because I bought AOL in Sept 98 and good god almighty is that ever a freight train. The profits I made with that afforded me to get back into Berkshire at the lower prices. AOL has more than doubled for me in just 6 months and is on its way to splitting again. Well, enough of that but I am still long on Berkshire...just am trying to decide how much to keep or accumulate when so much money is being made with the other. I hate having dead money waiting..waiting. (I can hear Warren laughing at me as we speak. lol) Ok...hangin on to mah bottle of wine. Thx..good luck to us all. Dep
