"NBC vs UNEWY?? Might their be another player delaying/preventing UNEWY announcement?" I have heard so many rumors re. companies interested in Vdat's production capabilities for live and stored video that it may well be that the company is taking a go slow approach before selling any of its shares to one of these suitors. I think UNEWY both historically ie presence on the net and recent focus on tv and video on the net see recent announcements from UNEWY and the close relationship between prnews a subsidiary of UNEWY a global news and multimedia Co. makes the most sense......which probably means it is not them:))

Current Weather Information to be Added to HotelView's Web Site

POMPANO BEACH, Fla., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Visual Data Corporation (Nasdaq: VDAT), a leading producer and distributor of video and audio programming for the Internet, today announced that it has signed an agreement with The Weather Channel. The agreement places current local weather information directly on HotelView's individual hotel and resort property web pages for all of its client properties. The agreement also calls for direct links from The Weather Channel's Weather.com web site, which averages over 115 million page views each month, to the HotelView.com web site.

Visitors to individual property pages within HotelView's web site, hotelview.com, will now see up-to-date weather information, supplied on a real-time basis by Weather.com, for the local and regional area where each particular client property is located.

Visual Data's HotelView subsidiary produces high-quality hotel video tours for the Internet that can be accessed from its member hotel sites, the HotelView site, or through a distribution network of more than 650 travel, leisure and business web links.

"This enhancement to the HotelView web site represents a way to further entice potential travelers to immediately book a room at one of our member properties," said HotelView General Manager David Chestler. "In addition to the allure of our on-line, full-motion video tours, site users now can see the kind of exact weather information that may convince them that conditions are going to be just right to visit a particular hotel and city.
