To get Power Etrade, evidently you have to fill out ans send in a Power Etrade application form,, at least that's what I've heard from their customer disservice email replies to my inquiries. On their website, there is no mention of it, only that you need to have a real time quote form on file. They have been jerking me around.

Plus they just retired the easy to use, uncluttered, faster-loading, 'classic etrade' site, despite my numerous (and I hope others') complaints.

I'm pissed. They should be sued for over-advertising ,, just like AOL was.

I'm sorry, but I have to let off steam. I tried to do a little trading on Etrade. I have been playing RBAK. This morning I tried to buy RBAK at 117 1/2 and my trading page didn't work, neither did my account balance page. RBAK went to 127 1/2 and started down. Now my page works! I'm stuck with Etrade for a year because of IRA regs. I guess I'm going to have to be a long market player for a year at least. That missed trade cost me between $3,000-$4,000. I'll have to use their phone system. Does anyone know how reliable it is?
