To all: Notice you guys are having a little trouble with the new "and" feature on spyhop. Here's a little "lesson" that was posted by one of your own steve sacco a while ago. He claims to have "15 years experience" in this sort of thing. Maybe he should call Wordcruncher and give them a hand with their "revolutionary" product. Read on:

"A lesson in Search Engine Queries for realmoney

I'm going to learn you a thing or two about this, if it's the last thing I do...

I said:
<<<"3) Using altavista, I did a search on "ken bell" and "bonneville pacific", and came up with no matches. (I also tried "kenneth" instead of "ken".) If he was in trouble for something, it should be out there somewhere, so...">>>

<<< Answer: Go to altavista and type 'Bonneville Pacific Corporation' it should return 304930 matches. On page 3 of results, result #30 you will see "Today's Top News Stories: Business News". Click on that to see the article I posted.>>>

Now, I've only been a computer programmer for 15 years, but just read the following v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y, and maybe - no guarantees - but just maybe, you'll catch on.

When I said: 'I did a search on "ken bell" and "bonneville pacific" ', it is VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTICE THE WORD "and" between the phrases "ken bell" and "bonneville pacific". Now, let me tell you this: when you use the word "and" between two words or phrases, what you are telling that big, complicated search engine brain is this: "only return a page to me if the phrase "ken bell" AND "bonneville pacific" are BOTH on the same page. If they are NOT both on the same page, DO NOT give me the page". So, you see, when I used those two major search engines too look for any information linking "ken bell" and "bonneville pacific", and ZERO pages were returned, that means, that, in the whole, big, wide world of the Internet, not a single, solitary place had anything that could satisfy that request.

So, in the future, before you say something mean and ugly like you did in post # 4410 "don't refer to your own ineptitude in using search engines as documentation of anything., I'd suggest that you take a long look in a mirror if you want to see what "ineptitude" really looks like...

Hope you're having an educational evening,

Steve"

Hope this was helpful in your quest to understand Wordcruncher's new, superior, revolutionary, and most importantly, easier to use, LOL, search engine.
