>>>I think if I were in business, it would be hard for me not to have the inventory and sales computerized. <<<

This will be so hard for you to believe that it will confound you as it has me, for years.

I used to have my inventory computerized but so many times I would pull out a roll of carpet or vinyl and I would go by what was on the tag and when it was measured it would be a foot short. I finally gave up and said if I have a question about the length I would roll it out and measure it rather than rely on the tag.

That has been over 5 years ago and every time, read my lips, every time I have a customer interested in a style or a roll balance where the length is in question I roll out the roll and there is always enough to do the job. It is exactly like God has chosen every customer and every roll size. Once I was short a closet and no matter how I cut it I was short. I told Val (the ladies name ) I was short and the only way I could finish the job was put linoleum in the closet. She just beamed and said I'm glad you mentioned that , I would much rather have vinyl in the closet.

God is awesome......

Big week coming up for you..Lord send those ministering angels that watch over my brother in Christ......Amen.
