Hugh:

I am also in a venting mood.

Hmmmm. Well, aside from venting I can only suggest one
thing...watch HTR and buy some if you like what you see.
I'm fairly confident this will be a huge winner in the
long-term. Just remember one thing...if some of these
newsletters like The Investment Reporter start
recommending HTR for whatever reason you'll know it may
be time to sell. They've got to be one of the best contrarian
indicators out there.

I'm looking for HTR to come down to the mid $11 area for
some accumulation.

That's my unabashed HTR plug for this week. :-]

Hugh, good posts from you and Ward.

I agree with most of your points. One of the biggest beefs I have is the 20% rule on RRSP's. We have to buy these crap Cdn. companies when there are so many high growth companies is the U.S. and around the world. I am sure that the pressure to keep this rule in place comes from the financial institutions as eliminating this rule would cause billions to be removed from the Cdn. equity markets.

With regard to insider trading, I believe that insiders should have to file their intent to buy or sell in advance.
