DiVit, that article said the DRIVES seemed to be the cause,
But this latest BUG in the 7000 sounds like a decoder one?

What type of the encoding equipment might Paramount
and Universal use?
Zapex? MPEG? :-)

Yes, I think we agree here. It's just that some people have differing hopes and/or opinions on which ones fall into the better category. :-)

For people who are experiencing dvd bugs on an Inspiron 7000 that they bought last year, they might want to try the updated driver on Dell's web page:
support.dell.com
but I haven't tried it myself so I don't know if it would solve the problem mentioned on the BBS.
