I think I got a great idea to give the best benefit for IDT's stock holders. That is, IDT should do whatever to get rid of its core business (Telecom). If IDT cannot get money from it, just gives it to someone for free and we IDT shareholders just don't care. Then split the rest into three companies with the following names: EPhone (i.e., Net2Phone), ENet (i.e., the ISP unit), and ESurf (i.e., EzSurf and MySpaceOnline). Each current IDT share will get 1/2 of each share above (the other half will be IPOed to attract investment). Now, how much can we make for each IDT share? Here's a very conservative formula (e.g., the button for EPhone in Netscape 5.0 alone might be worth over $50):
1/2*30(EPhone) + 1/2*20 (ENet) + 1/2*30 (ESurf) = $40

Well, If we can get $5 for the core business, then the price would be $45.

Should we all call IDT and convince them to do it?
