That is the kind of information I like to see posted on this board. Both from a relevance and a good news
standpoint. I was about to post something to the effect that the silence is deafening. Since I have no juicy
tidbits, what follows is sheer speculation. Semis are currently being abused by analyst comments dissing the
boxmakers. In my view, we are getting ready for a round of major computer purchases, although it will be
after the turn of the year. The rest of '99 will probably be reminiscent of a Sine wave, with the 1 1/2 month
period between earnings seasons being dismal for Tech stocks. I still believe that the chipquip stocks will be
pumping out earnings like gangbusters, and we'll see 50% pops in the SOX during these periods. We may,
however lose it all during the intervening lull, where the only news will be bad news. What to do???? Got
caught with my pants down with HELX nearing $24. Thought it was going to break through. Oh well, not
particularly concerned at these levels, as long as $18 holds. Will double down come 3/25 - 3/30. The fun will
start with INTC the early part of April, and won't end for 45 days. Dell will again disappoint, and this time I
will be on the sidelines, and stay there.....

James -

re: "What did you order?"

I ordered a P-III 450 with all the bells and whistles.

I'm having it made custom by a shop called Computer Network Corporation. Their prices are comparable to Dell's but they use higher quality components and you get to speak to a knowledgeable human to help you decide what to get.
