Very instructive, Vitas - even the parallel with '58 seems limited; the divergence is much more striking this time. Thanks a lot for explaining.

OFF TOPIC--very interesting biotech news articles

I don't usually spam other threads with off topic
links-to-links, but I thought I'd visit an old
thread where I used to hang out and drop this off.

techstocks.com

I usually find a few articles each week that seem
to me to be really big news...today I found no less
than four such articles.

Just thought you fellas might want something a little
different for a change.

By the way, I finally gave up thinking about whether
or not the market is too high. Sure it is--but there
are sectors which have been totally ignored. Since
I last visited this thread I found microcap biotech,
you will not find cheaper stocks than in that sector,
well, many of the gold stocks are damn cheap, but those
are boring, so I gave up on that idea. Anyway, in biotech
many bets can be made on stocks which trade close to the
cash on hand.

In case there are any millionaires lurking on this thread,
here's a list you can throw some money at (--if you're too
lazy to throw your own darts, heheh.)
ARIA, CNSI, CRGN, CTII, GMED, HYSQ, LGNDW, NTII, SIBI
Yeah, that's the stuff I own right now...I'm dead even
trading for the year only though, so can't brag that
they're warming up yet.

For what it's worth, I'm still 2/3rds cash--but I hate it.
