That kind of talk hasn't stopped speculation about who JetForm's suitor might be if one appears.

Hummingbird Communications Inc. is most often cited as a potential buyer for JetForm. The company has been on a recent buying spree of Canadian companies and Fred Sorkin, Hummingbird's CEO, has said he wants to buy some workflow software -- JetForm's specialty.

Analysts say other potential buyers could include major document management companies and JetForm customers such as Xerox Corp. which already resells JetForm products in Europe and the U.S.
