OFF TOPIC:

Good afternoon sir,

<<One example are companies in the field of drug delivery.>>

Are you referring to companies such as DEPO with their development of extended release forms of available molecules, or possibly DURA with their development of a different way to impel inhalants? I am just curious, in that I am obviously not up to speed on companies working on drug delivery. Any reference you might want to share on where I can read more would be appreciated.

<<I tend to be somewhat pessimistic with respect to future projections. Many estimates are done assuming that things go right >>

Point well taken! With biotechs, the only thing that seems to go smooth is when I place my buy order on DLJ<g>. As soon as I become a share holder, the hurdles that these companies must face, and the time needed to pass those hurdles seems to increase at a sometimes rapid rate. That large cash pile you refer to being fond of in the companies you buy, is a true luxury in biotechs today. It is becoming more difficult to attract the investment dollar in this market environment.

Thank you for your time and thoughts,
Greg

Is Liposome(LIPO)on your screen? LIPO ended 1998 with 42.4 million in cash and is in the drug delivery field. Anyway, thought it fit some of the criteria you mentioned and was interested in your thoughts!

Good Luck,
Greg
