DuPont may be emphasizing output traits, but Monsanto is into this tech as well. In fact, in the latest pipeline, the first Monsanto output traits debut next year. I think the real story is Monsanto is ahead in input traits, so DuPont has a better chance forging ahead with more zeal in the output traits area. Does DuPont have any output traits scheduled for next year like Monsanto does? I mean, it is fine that DuPont is emphasizing these...but when will they release products? By the way, output traits REQUIRE labeling. Thank God Greenpeace is helping Monsanto and DuPont break ground on this issue! Oh, by the way, I apologize if it appears I am ahead of the news services on some of these issues. I do not, nor have I ever, worked for Monsanto or DuPont.
