Dan, excellent post! I was scared for awhile that nothing would break MTC out of its 45-50 trading range even after all the positive Celebrex news. I have relatives that work for Monsanto in st. louis and they were buying the stock in the hi30's and low 40's simply b/c of celebrex. they knew weeks ago that the sales would be blockbuster, but it has not moved the stock until recently. i'm holding out for $60.

To add to your point 1) Dan, you should also mention the ongoing Celebrex trial to halt progression in Alzheimer's disease.

Excellent summary of the reasons, and I suspect your point 8) takes into consideration the chart formation as well.

<2) Ouster of EU commission. Old commission was anti-US, according to the Washington Post. Therefore, it's possible that the anti-US trade policies went out the door with them, including the negative agricultural (GM food) ones. Since the GM food issue in Europe has been a major factor holding down Monsanto's stock price, there is at least some hope that things may improve.>

This is what I was thinking yesterday, but alas, not quite as articulate or knowledgeable as you. Thanks for your continued posts.
