Greetings Folks!

I've been away in Northampton, Massachusetts, living in a motel room--no laptop computer--and working through the day. During the evenings I mostly watched the Sci-Fi Channel. After about a week of doing this, I finally realized what this and the Yahoo threads remind me of. You guessed it: The Sci-Fi Channel.

I also came to another startling revelation: I don't gotta bust my brains dealing with the undignified level of research and contribution which pervades on these threads. Whether it's Charles Dallas vs. Bagladdy, or vice versa; or Stock Detective and The Shorters vs. the People and The Shorters or vice versa; or this imposter vs. that imposter, or vice versa--I don't know! Perhaps now we understand why researchers are so hung up on getting their names on abstracts and publications--it becomes not only their money and their ego, but, importantly, the reference point!

Nonetheless, Zulu struggles on in the field of online advertising and ecommerce--one way or another. Is the basic business plan intact? I believe so. Is it finalized. I think not. Has it been easy? No. Will it get better? I think so.

This fact is clear however: With all of the companies Zulu acquired, something came with them. Have these acquired companies changed? Of course they have. There's been an incredible weeding out process, an in and out process as well. What does it all mean? Well, in the beginning, some folks put up a lot of money. I don't believe this investment was intended to mislead people or that there was any corruption intended.

But just look at the corruption which has permeated these threads. Is this what advertising is all about? Complete and outright unadulterated distortion? It appears so.

What am I left with? Well, my basic instincts. I believed there was and continue to believe there is value in what echoMEDIA, Wide Web Media, SIM and the others brought to the Zulu table. I believe the ESVS/ZULU deal will finalize soon and once this is completed and ZuluGroup.com has finally come into existence as its own reality, we will then see a difference.

Right now, we're dealing with lots of behind the scenes strategies--trails and errors, if you will--intending to effectuate the right balance of online advertising and ecommerce components into a viable company. Given the newness of these sectors, I see no reason why the ZuluGroup.com objective cannot become a reality and eventually become successful.

Sure I would have liked an overnight bingo, but it hasn't happened that way. Yes, I'm frustrated in my waiting and all of the confusion in the process. And any long would agree that it becomes even more frustrating what with all of the skepticism which has surrounded Zulu's plan.

Somehow we who've invested in ZULU or ESVS have become involved in one hell of a manipulation, whether from the company, market makers, competition, employee disgruntlement or clever unidentifiable twistposters who possess innate bashing tendencies whatever their motivation. Indeed, we've even seen schizophrenia play a role here: Is it Bagladdy? Is it Charles Dallas? Is it both of 'em? Is it neither of 'em? Where is the value of understanding, never mind the money!

But should we expect anything less when it comes to advertising which, by its very nature, is manipulative and borderline, if not fully, fraud-ridden. Indeed, advertising is a form of emotional sabotage by its very nature. Look at what it's done to these discussion threads. Will ESVS/Yahoo ever become "New and Improved?" I doubt it.

Has the dumbing down become so good, so effective, that it finally has become a life full of early to work, sick on-the-job humor and then home for dinner and nightly doses of watching canned news, cops and sports shows interspersed with frogs, lizards and other odd creatures telling us we can get satisfaction? And then the next day more of the same?

Oh, give me Sci-Fi, give me a walk in the park and let's all read the Gospels of Zen all at once! Better yet, I'll just pick up my guitar and always try to sing a different song. From a song I once wrote, The Way Things Really Are:

"You could know the Jack of Hearts,
Or the King who rules with spare parts
Perhaps the Queen, her lovely view,
Are the cards really right for you
--It's the way things really are
It's hard to tell who you really are."

Oh well, enough said. I'll close by reaffirming my Zulu long position, believing that eventually the minor and major pieces of this game will come together and we'll finally see a good game plan on the board. But I've got to admit that these threads sort of remind me of the movie The King of Hearts! (LOL)

Meanwhile, I'll simply smile in my own self-acknowledgement that I really am who I really am and that the things I love and cherish are as real as they can be for me. Do I want more? You bet I do. I'd like everyone to feel that way and share a similar kind of experience.

Good luck!

PS: I've decided to become less contentious and hereby express a willingness to no longer debate every point, every pro and con concerning this company. The company will succeed because of what it does and not by anything I would or could do.
