paul....re: "...come may 21st,we cross that bridge..."

and if you decide to cross, get someone else to pay the toll...

the strategy is simple as you adeptly have shown....you incur no additional exposure to your capacity, you gain incremental income, and roll forward until you win with dell, or replace with another issue...

you're not going to get rich overnight, but you will have consistent capped gains....and if the end of the world again comes...always have the safety of a leap...look what a dell 0150...or soon to be announced 0250 (coming this may) can do for you...provides a very large umbrella to keep you out of the rain!

good luck....fifty not that far...ed a.

Pal,
I have a question. Even though the buyer of your put is 'in the money' there is no chance of it getting assigned before may 21th? Can you only exercise an option on the day it expires? Thanks.

Dennis

Also, what would be the worst case scenario if the buyer of the put is in the money on may 21st? I would have to buy the shares at $50? Thanks for your help. I only ever bought calls and sold covered calls.
