How convenient you chose not to look at statewide elections. You conservatives need to address your antagonists with intellect, not condescention - the situation in California for republicans has been discussed on national talk shows AD NAUSEUM. Worst performance in 40 years - a widespread acknoledgement that republicans fall into 2 camps 1) religous zealots, 2) out of touch old-timers. This was before impeachment. Sheesh you really are in denial.
