Compaq just announced it was using an ATI chip for several of its $1,500 laptops. The article is posted somewhere on the Yahoo boards. Essentially, the article was a press release from ATI stating that it was no longer a a "high" end chip. In my opinion this is bad news for NMGC.

Also, someone on the Yahoo boards stated that NMGC is considering a stock buyback. If this is true I don't know why they would do such a thing.

Here is a quick review of how Trident is looking at CeBit 99. Not really worth anything but this board is a little slow so I felt this is better than nothing. :-)

Trident

Remember Trident, the 1990 champ of video cards? Boy, if I fall then please let it break my neck so I won't end up in a 12 sqft cubicle in the joined american booth in area 9. Really sad to see them come down to this.
