Mike, no, gold might actually hit new lows in that process (not much but anew low nevertheless). Gold, IMHO, will not regain its position as an important "store of value" for the "foreseeable" future. Its rise will be tied to the behavior of commodities in general. Right now, these are still in a bear market.
