Trade Show in April

Jump to first matched term

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 1999--

Revolutionary New e-Business Tool Enables Companies to Deliver

Live, Personalized Customer Service Via the Internet to

Anyone With a PC

Sideware Systems Inc. (VSE:SYD) today announced that it will be demonstrating its Dr. Bean(TM) e-Business solution at the Internet World Trade
Show (April 12-16), the largest event for e-Business and Internet technology in the world. Visitors to Internet World will find Sideware's
live-interactive demonstration booth (No. 324) located directly in the midst of "The e-Commerce Solutions Showcase," section of the show.
Representatives from both the company's corporate offices in North Vancouver, Canada, and its U.S. headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, will be on hand
to respond to visitor inquiries. In addition, representatives from Sideware's Partners and Associates, including IBM, Sun Microsystems and SAIC, as
well as Los Angeles area IBM VARs will be in attendance at the booth. Sideware Systems will also be holding a press conference at the show, during
which it plans to announce its latest news, including updated information on its partners and customers. "The Internet World Show will provide an
excellent opportunity for both companies and Value Added Resellers to get a hands-on demonstration of the power and versatility offered by Dr. Bean,"
said Owen Jones, CEO of Sideware Systems. "We expect they'll be amazed at just how simple Dr. Bean makes it to add live dialog and interactive
exchange to Internet web-sites." Already the subject of great interest from both companies and resellers as well, Sideware's Dr. Bean is a truly unique
value-added tool that can be easily integrated with IBM middleware products, like DB2, Net.Commerce and Websphere to create e-commerce solutions.
Organizations can use Dr. Bean to deliver live, personalized customer service over the Internet from their own e-commerce site to anyone with a PC.
Written in 100% Java, Dr. Bean adds Internet exchange to Internet web sites, enabling companies to personalize a customer's purchase experience at
their sites.

Through Dr. Bean, e-commerce CSRs can take control of customers' browsers and lead them through Web pages on a guided tour, or follow them to
assess their purchasing interests. With just a single mouse click, customers can access and "chat" with a live CSR about sales specials, alternate
products, shipping or any other service questions.

It has been exactly month since financing was announced on Feb 18

There has been mentioned on some thread, 30 days needs to pass, after a financing before a company can promote. Does anyone know the rules regarding this?
