All: Does anyone have any suggestion about a good stock to short today? TIA.
Probably I should short Nasdaq 100. Does anyone have the symbol for that (the stock that just started trading in Amex last week?). Thanks.

When I talk about CSCO's INTC's MSFT's TXN's GE's G's C's and MER's and SNE's of the world this is what I mean--10,000 or 9,000 is not important, it is about pre-dominant direction and to be in stocks which are rising and out of those which are falling.

Another way to say it is to look for those companies with strong relative strength that are leaders in their industry... If you buy them in down markets you get a discount... If you buy them in up markets you get greater relative appreciation than the broad market...
