FONELY EYED quacked that "G" duck yesterday but in the words of Andy of Mayberry and the self-mocking tone of Blarney Fife "Nooooooo-O" - 'twas all them darn leprechauns fault they kept broadcasting a birds hatching eggs picture til they hypnotized me out of it. Caged birds are not hunting dogs, elks or eagles...if I knew then what I know now...This makes me so "never give up" determined to trap one of these fellers and trick his pot o'gold away from him...I only got til midnight gooood luck... maybe buying a few lottery tickets...no toucheeing them skitty technets with lil green tricksters afoot like squirrels in the attic they are, they are.....
Something like this happens around every St. Patricks Day, and every year I fall for it again. It's because one time in my life I was actually standing in the light at the base of the rainbow for just a moment as that indescribable magnificence of living light touched me and travelled on; and (yeah you guessed it I HAD TO LOOK UP TO SEE INTO IT!) whaddya know I blew it with the leprechauns gold in what I thought at the time was a fair trade for such a rarely seen sight... and so they've been teasing me about it every Green Day ever since.
Yeah, Blarney, I said...
