The TSE is generally the most lenient when it comes to uncontrolled trading - The VSE and ASE will halt you sooner then the TSE will. A halt request is more likely to come at the request of the company than from the TSE.

t minus 30 minutes and counting. No predictions here other than volatility and high volume - NWI will be in the national news again tomorrow - I just wish I knew the headline. A thursday NR is always a good sign

NWI IR told me yesterday that they do not like to halt the stock unless absolutely necessary. In the past they have halted when leaks were suspected (e.g. on visuals rather than when assays were ready). My own guess was that the stock would be halted this morning if the results weren't quite tabulated. If there isn't a halt, then I guess they have more than a few hours of number crunching left to do and they do not suspect a leak.
