So why did they take my background color away? Mine was always passive enough with just a solid teal. I know some had moving things, and more complex stuff that took a while to load, but I wish I had my color back.

I knew there was some concerns on the auto redirects. I thought it got blown out proportion since must links on SI go to off site URL's anyway. I kinda expected to see the redirects disappear. I believe the concern with the background colors was that some were using it to obscure their list of posts. Evidently, someone considers it a concern because they are gone. I scanned several profiles this morning that I knew had background colors and the background colors are gone. The thing about the auto and graphics is just personal to me. I hate to wait for all the graphics and audio to load when all I want to see is what the person's last post was. For that reason I took my graphic and audio off site several weeks ago. If SI objects to my link to an off site profile, I guess I will bring them back on site. I am glad though that SI is taking steps to clean up SI! I will abide by whatever decisions they make. Cisco
