Again, you have trouble reading my posts. Yesterday I discussed the competitive landscape. It is slowly evolving.

You would have to agree that ILECs are notorious for protecting their monopoly bases while stalling new services. It is fear of revenue loss which causes ILECs to impede the stimulation of these new markets. With ADSL, most ILECs understand the primary market is the affluent residential customer, most with a second POTS or ISDN line used primarily for internet access. But ADSL actually allows customers to cancel that second line in most homes. So the strategy has been to delay introduction of ADSL to all areas not served by competitors. Competitors include both MSOs and CLECs.
