It would seem that the impending court case which could take months to settle has effectively stifled any surprise take over bid for the company before the goods are full known.
I wonder if there is more behind this little tiff than meets the eye.

James,

<<Cliff,It is my view that RT is in the early stages of putting a " FOR SALE " sighn on >>

All comes down to one simple question. Do we trust that RT is maximizing share value by breaking up the assets?

A great pearl of wisdom for Sundir was in summary: Invest in companies with great management. Great management can do more with an average assets than poor management can do with the find of the century.

And this one from Ted Coppel's interview with Warren Bufett: I invest in (or just buy!) companies whose business I can understand and who possess an excellent management team.

I have read nothing from any credible source that would cause me to eliminate RT from the 'great management' category.
