Sorry, I saw IBM/Net2Phone news from Yahoo! post today and in fact it was an old news. It was still good news anyway.

Happy Investing

For those who picked IBM as "Mr. Big" it is not unusual for IBM to
negotiate as part of any deal the rights to purchase some percent
of the partner. Usually, this is kept to something less than 5%.
That is not necessarily good news since it could scare off another
suitor who doesnt want to have to dance with IBM. Some other points
to ponder. Though IBM sold off their Global Network, they retain the
rights to sell the service and offer the services under their Global
Services offerings plus they have announced a deal with DELL that has
DELL buying IBM products which may include software bundles that
include Net2Phone. IBM ships bundles too and could start including
Net2Phone in it's product packages. Anyway, Net2Phone has basically
become the industry standard in the past week with all of the alliance
announcements and I would think there will be more over the course of
this month. It has all been overshadowed by the impending
announcements regarding the bond-holder consent, the IPO and the
Mr. Big relationship. That is unfortunate since Net2Phone has just
become as dominant in it's space as AOL and the other dominant
Internets have become in their space. I still maintain that we will
not see any of the other announcements until after options expire.
But when all of this begins to sink in and the new PR guy starts to
do his job I believe we will get a nice move.
