Winspear exploration activities on Hilltop property Winspear Resources Ltd WSP Shares issued 33,721,333 Mar 16 close $3.03 Wed 17 Mar 99 News Release Mr. Randy Turner reports The north boundary of the company's 100-per-cent-owned Hilltop property is contiguous with the south boundary of the Camsell Lake property on which an advanced exploration program in the Snap Lake area is being conducted by Winspear and its joint venture partner. During the summer of 1998, till sampling on the Hilltop property revealed one microdiamond and several concentrations of indicator minerals, some associated with kimberlite fragments that may have originated from more than one kimberlite source. The existing program is designed to followup on these results and to provide preliminary airborne information over recently staked claims. The present program comprises approximately 150 line-kilometres of ground geophysics over an area including the indicator mineral anomalies in addition to 5,200 line-kilometres of a helicopter-borne Mag-EM survey over newly acquired ground. Both surveys are nearly completed. Diamond drilling has just begun on a program of up to 2,500 metres that will test 13 or more targets on the property. An exploration program of about $1.5-million has been established to finance the present exploration program and to continue till sampling on the property during the coming summer season. © Copyright 1999 Canjex Publishing Ltd. canada-stockwatch.com
