It doesn't matter what people do. It's how they think and analyze information. I'm sorry that you feel the need to categorize people by their occupations.

I wouldn't care if any person posting here were a nightime janitor at the local Wendy's so long as their thoughts were concise and well thought out.

I completely willing to permit opinions. But isn't fair is when those opinions have to be thrust down other people's throats uncontested, especially when they try to interpret other people's thoughts as was done with the comments from Bruce Webster.

I don't feel I'm important, and I certainly don't want people blindly adopting my opinions. I just want as objective an analysis on the potential fallout, major or minor, from Y2K as anyone else should. I don't wish to analyze just those facts that might support my personal biases.
