"...is there a better broker around?" Walter, try Datek. I have been using it for years. It's not perfect but it's adequate. If I recall correctly, up to about a year Datek executions were fast but it seemed to have slow down considerably after that. However, lately it appears to have regain some of its former speed (since the beginning of this month?). Compared to other discount brokerages that I had used or are using , it's the most reliable and fastest. Good luck.
