OTEX

Jenna,

That's the story of my life - shelves overflowing with trading books. One of my favorites is "Method in Dealing in Stocks" by Joseph Kerr written in 1931 but available in paperback from M. Gordon Publishing - mgordonpub.com - a brilliant but difficult technical analysis book.

Anyway, in my search for "market gems", I stumbled across Open Text (symbol OTEX) on another thread, an Internet stock that has a stake in an IPO that's coming out next week. The IPO of MiningCo.com is slated for March 23 (see Web site miningco.com. If you look through the SEC filing, you will set that OTEX will have approximately 8% of the shares after the offering, and the offering is going to be very popular. Here is the reference from the SEC filing:

Open Text Corporation (5)..................... 885,201 10.6 7.7

Please refer to the OTEX thread on SI for more information. One of the posters has a link to the Edgar filing.
