Don,

<<which could end up with the SPX trading back in the 15-20
range within 5 years. >>

Not in the next decade my good friend. If the republicans win the white house, and the polls are showing an absoulte blowout for now (Bush vs. Gore), 30 year bonds will head for the 3's, and S&P P.E.'s will head for 50. Earnings growth rates will jump from the putrid 3 to 7% we have now to 15 to 20%. Corporate taxes will be lowered, capital gains taxes cut, and the internet will drop inches off corporate wastelines. Now's definitely not the time to go L-T bearish, as the best is yet to come of this bull market.

Regards,

David
