Arrow, FWIW, I'm not necessarily an advocate of MaxPain...just another potential factor in options expiration and I have seen it in play before.

There is a complete explanation of the Max-Pain&#153 hypothesis and a fully detailed calculation example linakable from any of the Max-Pain Point&#153 pages or graphs on my web site.

Oh, btw, the calculation does include all strike prices that have open interest for a given month, both puts and calls. And yes, a close near $15 will force both the calls and puts at that strike price to expire worthless.
