I have decided to do that as well. I think its easier to manage a 100-200K portfolio with 4 stocks than to try and grapple with 500k and 30 different stocks all at once. So I have set a target goal on each of my accounts. Every time an account has more than the target, out comes my chequebook ! I find money management is easier this way...

This loss was the ONLY meaningful loss in my life. I just hope nothing like that happens again...! That is why I don't put too much faith in these "established" large cap stocks anymore ! Hubby has CSCO, but he's got them free so he doesn't care ! I prefer high growth under my watchful eye. If I'm not trading them, I like the cash ! One learns.....
