"Inktomi shopping engine concerns me" - and so it should, along with the fact that the internet is already a shopper's heaven where retailers have to compete until margins are cut to the bone. Witness the zero margin concept touted during this week's net conference - instead of earning money from sales - which is proving next to impossible for run-of-the-mill retail on the web - companies would earn their money through advertizing. That scuttles the whole of the internet sector onto internet advertizing - a bit extreme in my view, but the point is profits won't come easy. Kailash
