I'm concerned about the "secret" aspect of this offering. The low rate must equate to a preferred conversion price. Anyway, why not be open with regard to the terms of the placement? Add that to the dubious "purpose" for the increase in working capital that you pointed out.....

For the record, I went short on Monday.

The WSJ Heard on the Street Column today just happens to be on Internet companies issuing convertibles. I'm not saying that I subscribe to this, but here is an excerpt so you can all run to your Journals and look it up. :)

<These convertibles will lead to a flood of new Internet shares, specialists say, slashing long-awaited earnings of many Internet companies and threatening to reduce the scarcity of shares that has helped to drive up stock prices>

The Journal article specifically mentions Citrix.

Me, I'm so grouchy about Y2K that I'm negative on everything.
