John G; If memory serves me right, the same job types were posted when things first turned around last time. The production jobs came a little later (6 - 8 weeks I think). If memory also serves me right, the stock started to really move around when production jobs were listed. I think this will happen after 1Q earnings this time. I have, in fact, printed out the entire job listing at least once/week since Sept 98 and intend to do so thoughout this cycle. I intend to use it for detailed analysis for the next cycle, and maybe a little on this one. Don't forget that Mattson just let go of some folks in 12/98 & just stopped the salary reductions at the end of Feb (or Jan - I forget). This is a fairly quick turnaround on the HR side.
