I'd like to open up a new strategy on Dessauers picks and I invite your comments pro and con. Dessauer is touting ERICY especially on dips, and it has been dipping of late (under 24 at todays close). Sell the 20 JAN 2001 Puts (symbol ZYDMD). The current quote of the put is 3 3/8 - 3 5/8. If the put expires you pocket $3.50/share. If the seller exercises the put your net cost is approximately $16.50/share and you've had the use of the $3.50 over the period. I believe this is a worthwhile trade. I have done this successfully with CD and HLT thereby lowering my costs to where they have become very profitable holdings. I have a thick skin - so give it your best shot.
