You're off by one digit - BRKB now at 2550. The past few days remind me why I swore of trading in and out of BRKB. Better just to sit back and let it ride.

It is pretty clear that brk has caught the attention of the mo mo boys. No good can come of this at all, unless you try to play off the momentum speculators. I have used brk to give me stability in a heavily weighted tech portfolio, and at times used a lot of leverage, knowing that brk was a steady, but fast, grower. It has been bouncing around like a ping pong ball since the beginning of last year.

I would wish that we would discourage the use of brk as a speculation or trade. And it is obvious that the day to day gyrations are even less meaningful than in the past, so it is getting to the point where there is no point in looking.
