Ah yes. I remember TKX. IVI was around 11-12, when TKX tanked to around 2-3 dollar. To-day TKX is around 17 with a high of 23+ for the year and we have IVI/IVC around 5 bucks. All dollars are canadian. No question that IVI Checkmate is a cheap stock on any measure. Unfortunately, for small caps the market is now littered with fundamentally OK companies with cheap valuation.

IVI Checkmate has been a great trading stock. For buy and hold types, it has been one of the worst. So if you are going to be in it, you might want to trade.

One last note, the reason I will reduce is size of my position. Just too many eggs in this particular basket, turning me into a basket case.

samg, great post. I was forced to lower my holdings. Now that I will not face anymore margin pressure, I intend to hold on for a long, long, time...once we move up a couple of bucks I am going to stop watching this stock like a hawk. Hasn't done anything for my returns. I hear that we will see some good announcements very soon (perhaps tomorrow?), but we all know it will linger here for a while...
