I think the MP6II with on board 256K cache on board will give Cyrix a run for its money.

Unless the rumoured socket 370 MX with 256Kb cache shows up in April as rumoured. I think the rise FPU is superior to MII and it will be a much lower cost solution than MII's.

Unless Halla ships something soon you will see Rise teaming up with some integrated pheripheral guys to produce a more integrated solution and launching an integrated solution by year end - possibly ahead of Cyrix.
